What the Scuba Crew does…
- Meets once per month to plan dives
- Dives at least once per month
- Makes Scuba dive trips to the quarries and in Lake Erie in the summer and the pool in the winter
- Takes part in Pumpkin carving Underwater at Halloween –
“Seriously” - Decorates an Underwater Christmas tree in December
- Participates annually at the Scuba for Diabetes at Cleveland State University, We assemble large puzzles underwater which raises money for diabetes
- Hosts trial scuba dives to uncertified kids to show them how exciting our sport is
- Comes up with project ideas to further other scuba divers skills –
for example, we built the Peak Performance Buoyancy course that now hovers at the bottom of White Star quarry
Who Can Join?
Young adults –
Ages 14 – 20 - You do not have to be certified to join. You can take the Scuba class after you join
- Co Ed –
Girls & Boys
