Our Rescue Diver Course which consists of an one hour orientation session, two classrooms, one pool and scenario dives. This program will teach you how to anticipate, prevent and manage potential dive accidents. From assisting a tired diver to handling emergency scenarios, you will practice applying the knowledge and skills that can make the difference in the unlikely event problems do arise. This course will boost your confidence level and make the subject of accident prevention and management not only fun, but extremely rewarding. Many divers say this is the most valuable course they have ever taken.

What You Need…

You will use your basic scuba diving equipment. You will also need a pocket mask during this course.

The Learning Materials You Need…

PADI Rescue Diver Manual (included in the course fee).

You will learn how to think like a rescue diver and act like a rescue diver. The tool box of knowledge and skills you learn will give you the expertise to handle almost any emergency situation.

Prerequisites…

  • PADI Advanced Open Water certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Check out our Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses)
  • Be 12 years or older (12-14 year old divers will earn a Junior Rescue Diver certification)
